Workshop Background & Objectives:

HR has often been hopelessly stereotyped as mostly doing

transactional administrative work, falling short in delivering strategic value to the

organization. Current global economic conditions, with rapid decline of customer

loyalty and increased speed of change require new mind-set, skill-set and tool-set to

transform HR function from being administrative experts to value creating business

partner able to deliver strategic and transformational work to meet current business

demands. HR practitioners need to earn trust and speak the language of business to

become a real partner in the organization. In other words, HR needs to deliver

strategic value to the organization. The workshop on Strategic HR Planning is aimed at

providing participants with hands-on approach to developing strategic HR roadmaps, to

connect human resources work to business strategy
